NEET Exam 2020
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) – 2020 is going to be conducted by the National testing agency (NTA). it's a standard medical entrance test for admission in MBBS and BDS courses in various medical colleges like AIIMS, JIPMER, AFMC, deemed medical colleges, government Medical colleges, private medical colleges, and everyone other medical colleges of India. As AIIMS and JIPMER won't be conducted anymore from this session, NEET has been the sole medical entrance in India. this text gives you all information about NEET Exam Pattern! Further, the common counseling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in these INIs shall be conducted by the DGHS as per the Time schedule laid out in the MCI’s regulations.
NEET Exam Pattern 2020
All questions are going to be multiple-choice questions (MCQs) type with four options and one correct option.
Every question has equal marks and every correct answer is going to be awarded +4 marks. Also, there'll be 1/4th negative marking, each wrong answer is going to be awarded -1 mark and 1 mark is going to be deducted from your total obtained marks.
Physics: 45 questions
Chemistry: 45 questions
Biology: 90 questions
Total:180 questions and maximum marks are going to be 720.
Duration of the test – The duration of the test would be three hours i.e. 180 minutes
Mode of examination – NEET (UG) – 2020 may be a Pen & Paper-based test, to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen.
The medium of the Question Papers – NEET 2020 is going to be held in following 11 languages and candidate can choose one among the subsequent 11 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu
Candidates choosing English would be given the Test Booklet in English only.
Candidates choosing Hindi would be provided a Bilingual Test Booklet in English and Hindi.
Candidates choosing regional languages would even be provided a Bilingual Test Booklet in selected Regional language and English.
The option once chosen can't be changed.
In case of any ambiguity in translation of an issue within the test, its English version shall be treated as final and therefore the decision of NTA shall be final during this regard.
Candidates qualifying NEET (UG) – 2020 would be eligible for All India Quota and another quota under the State Governments/Institutes, regardless of the medium of the examination, subject to other eligibility criteria.
A number of candidates applied for NEET 2020 – In NEET 2020, there's an increase of 4.87 percent candidates from neet 2019. this year’s total hike within the number of candidates is nearly 74083.
